COVID-19 and Business Continuity

Alliance Consultants, implementing several safety measures in our own organization, has remained busy serving critical manufacturing and other essential industry clients throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. We anticipate many industries will gradually come online as we flatten the curve. We are focusing resources on clients adapting to COVID-19 risks in three key areas:

Business Continuity

Corporate risk management and EHS are changing forever. Dusty contagious pathogen Emergency Response plans and flowcharts are being reworked. Though scientists globally are working to more completely understand the nature of the virus, what we know at present creates a unique, unpredictable risk for employers that must be met with deliberate planning for all possible scenarios. As industries come back online, agile and adaptive plans are necessary to manage risks associated with this pandemic. While developing goals achieved through administrative, work practice, and engineering controls, we can transition to getting back to life with this virus. We are working with small interdisciplinary teams comprised of EHS, HR, and Administrators to ensure that screening and response outcomes are all anticipated and tailored to production processes, OSHA Exposure Risk Categories, and personnel.

Disinfection of Client Facility Air, Products, and Environmental Surfaces

Alliance Consultants is uniquely positioned to help any and all brick and mortar businesses with disinfection protocols, oversight, and clearance. Using our experience in biology and industrial hygiene, along with a backbone in process engineering, we can help to guide you in all of the available resources to disinfect against all transmission pathways. From years of clearance testing for a wide variety of chemical and biological contaminants, we have a strong network of cleaning partners throughout the lower peninsula of Michigan. We are actively awaiting viable COVID-19 environmental sampling kits for clearance testing, once the curve flattens.

Qualitative PPE Fit Testing and PPE Sterilization Consulting

On March 14, 2020, OSHA issued an Enforcement memo regarding N95 filtering facepiece respirators. We can help with the burden of qualitative fit testing compliance in this stressful time.

If you have questions about respiratory protection to protect your employees, please contact us.
